ChargeUP Rewards (“ChargeUP”) is our way of rewarding you for charging your EV with us. Every dollar spent charging earns you reward points that you can redeem (minimum 500 points) to offset your next EV charging session. 

Introducing our new 3-tier ChargeUP Rewards with 3 dynamic tiers - Green, Silver, Gold – where you can earn up to 7 points per dollar spent on charging. Level up your tier, level up your points!  

EVTiers

From 1 October 2025, all users will be flagged off from the Green tier. The reward points that you have earned up to 30 September 2025 will remain intact, ready for your use to offset your next EV charging bill.  

We have introduced quarterly tier refresh to elevate your EV charging experience. You may level up or level down depending on the number of points you have earned in the previous quarter. At any time during the quarter when you have earned the required number of points to level up, your tier will be refreshed immediately. You will earn more points in this new tier until the end of the following quarter. Watt a way to be rewarded for charging more with us! You control when to level up and unlock more points!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is ChargeUP Rewards? 

ChargeUP Rewards is SP Mobility’s rewards programme for customers who use their EV charging network. Every charge earns reward points. The more you charge, the more you earn. 

2. Is there a cost to join ChargeUP Rewards? 

No, membership is free. You’re automatically enrolled when you register for a personal account with SP Mobility. Simply charge and start earning ChargeUP reward points. 

3. Are reward points given to all charging sessions? 

The reward points are only offered to personal account holders who charge on non-discounted rates. Note that promotional discounts offered by SP Mobility periodically do not constitute "discounted rates" in this instance. 

Users enjoying group discount rate (e.g. corporate and fleet users) or on a subscription plan with SP as well as those charging via guest checkout are ineligible for reward points. Some exceptions may apply through our exclusive partnerships. If you’re eligible, our partner will reach out to you directly with the details. Every dollar (excluding GST) spent on charging earns reward points. Points will be awarded into your account at the end of your charging session, after payment is made.  

For instance, users who enjoy discounted rates and are ineligible for reward points are: 

a) Users enjoying group discount rate with SP Mobility, such as corporate and fleet users who enjoy discounted charging rate for their charging sessions. 

b) Private condo residents on a subscription plan, charging within their monthly quota. Charging sessions beyond their monthly quota at a pay-per-use rate are entitled to reward points. Condo residents who are not on a subscription plan are entitled to reward points for all their charging sessions. 

c) Users who charge via Guest Checkout option 

4. How does it work? 

For every $1 you spend charging (excluding GST), you earn ChargeUP reward points. The number of points you earn per dollar increases as you move up the tiers. There are 3 tiers: 

  • Green (base tier) 
  • Silver (mid-tier) 
  • Gold (top tier) 

5. How do I earn reward points? 

Simply charge your EV with us. For every $1 spent on charging:

6. Is there a minimum amount to spend on EV charging to earn the points? 

You are required to spend a minimum of $1 (excluding GST) on EV charging to start earning points. Reward points are earned from dollars spent on EV charging (excluding idle fees), after deduction of any discount and/or voucher. 

7. Is there a limit on the number of points that I can earn? 

No, there is no limit.  

8. Do the points expire? 

The points are valid for 12 months, through the last day of the final month. After the validity period, unused points will be forfeited. Remember to redeem them before they expire! 
e.g. Points earned on 1 November, 13 November and 28 November 2025 will expire on 30 November 2026. The last day for points redemption is 30 November 2026.  

9. How can I check my current tier, points balance and transaction history? 

Log in to your EV charging account via the SP app to see your current tier, points balance and transaction history.  

10. When do the qualifying quarters start and end for the tier refresh? 
The dates are: 

  • 1 January – 31 March 
  • 1 April – 30 June 
  • 1 July – 30 September 
  • 1 October – 31 December 

11. How do I level up / down? 

Your tier will be refreshed on a quarterly basis. You may level up or level down depending on the number of points you have earned in the previous quarter. At any time during the quarter when you have earned the required number of points to level up, your tier will be refreshed immediately. You will earn more points in this new tier until the end of the following quarter.

Note: Your earn rate is based on your tier status at the end of each charging session. If you were to end charge at the start of a new quarter, the points you earn for that charging session will be based on your tier status as at that date. See Example 4 below.

Assuming the charging session costs $20 (excluding GST), you will earn 20 points for this charging session 

12. What happens to the current GreenUP Rewards where I have earned and accumulated leaves? 
There is no change to the GreenUP Rewards. You will still earn 20 leaves when you charge at least 20 kWh each session and be able to exchange the leaves for vouchers under the GreenUP Rewards. In addition, you will earn ChargeUP reward points for every dollar spent on EV charging, excluding GST. 

13. I have existing EV charging vouchers in my account, can I use the charging vouchers as well as the reward points to offset the next charging bill? 
Yes, you can. Do remember to make your selection before you start charging. The selected voucher will first be used to offset the EV charging bill amount, followed by reward points. Unused reward points will be returned to users, vouchers will not be refunded. 

14. Will I still earn points if I select to apply both EV charging voucher and points to offset the next charging bill? 
Yes, points are calculated and awarded based on the amount spent on EV charging after deducting the value of any voucher and/or points used, where applicable. 

15. What is the conversion rate for the points redemption? 
The conversion rate is 100 points is equivalent to $1 value. A minimum of 500 points is required for points redemption. The dollar value equivalent to the number of points will be automatically offset from your EV charging bill. Any balance points will be refunded to your account. You may pay for the balance amount using your preferred method of payment if the EV charging bill exceeds the dollar value equivalent of points redeemed. 16. Is there a minimum spending required to redeem the points to offset the EV charging bill? 
There is no minimum spending on EV charging required to redeem the use of points. However, points accumulated are to be redeemed for use fully. If the EV charging bill is less than the dollar value equivalent of points accumulated in the rewards, the balance points will be refunded. If the EV charging bill exceeds the dollar value equivalent of points accumulated in the rewards, the user will pay for the balance bill amount using the selected payment mode. 

Example 1 

You have 605 points and your charging bill is $20 (before GST and excluding idle fees, if any). All 605 points ($6.05) will be fully redeemed to offset the bill. Please pay the balance bill amount of $13.95 (before GST, excluding idle fees) using your selected payment mode.    

Example 2 

You have 2,500 points and your charging bill is $20 (before GST and excluding idle fees, if any). All 2,500 points ($25) will be fully redeemed to offset the $20 bill. You will not be required to pay for this charging session and the balance of 500 points will be refunded to your account. 

Example 3 

You have 400 points and your charging bill is $15 (before GST and excluding idle fees, if any). As you do not have a minimum of 500 points, you will be required to pay the bill amount in full using your selected payment mode. 

17. Can I transfer the points or exchange them for cash? 
The points are tied to specific user account as a reward for your support of SP Mobility and are not transferable. They cannot be exchanged for cash, except to be used to offset your next EV charging bill. 

18. Can I use the points at all SP Mobility chargers? 
Points can be redeemed for use at EV chargers owned by SP Mobility and which are accessible by members of the public, subject to the availability of such chargers.   

19. Can I use the points to offset idle fees? 

Idle fees are fees that will apply after a charging session has ended and the EV is still plugged in after the end of the grace period, which is 30 minutes. Points earned can only be redeemed and offset against EV charging bill. They cannot be used to offset idle fees. 

20. Why am I not seeing my reward points? 

For improved user experience and to see your reward points, please visit the respective app store using the link below to update your App Version to:

  • 14.84.2 or above (Android); or
  • 14.84.3 or above (iOS)
